So many scenarios!
A board game, a role playing game, a mystery? For 3-6 players this game is a must have for any game fan. Packed with 50 different game scenarios your group will have plenty to play again and again. The story is intentionally vague, you pick one of 12 characters with their own stats and a short bio quip to get you into character and then you enter the house. The house is your board and the board is a set of puzzle pieces that you and your group build together as you explore. As each of you discover new rooms in the house you will flip new room tiles and place them onto the board and as you move through the house you will encounter events that can hurt your character or give you a boost to your stats. With treasure to find, NPC's you can discover and even a dog that can help carry gear it's a quick diversion for any fan of Dungeons and Dragons or any role playing game. Adding to the game are Omens you will collect. Every Omen triggers a "Haunt Roll" that at first is easy to win but will over time become inevitable to fail. One player will eventually trigger the Haunt and the fun begins as you discover which of the 50 haunts you will play and who the traitor in your group that loured the rest of you into the house for their own nefarious scheme! The playtime is short, usually taking 1-2 hours. The scenarios are funny, with one involving house cats that's more entertaining that it sounds. It's too much fun and an easy substitute if you don't have an afternoon for your pen and paper game!
